The weapon of choice

The way in which we view the world can shift.

It isn’t rigid or fixed.

I’ve listened to this Fatboy Slim track on and off for some 22 years.

22 years of hearing it the exact same way.

Yesterday was the first time I heard the lyrics in a totally new way.

Before this I had taken “weapon of choice” to mean ‘the weapon I prefer’.

Then yesterday it hit me in an entirely new way.

Choice as a weapon.

Choice has power. Choice has impact. Choice can be explosive.
