What I love about ADHD coaching

I was recently asked by a coaching colleague "What do you love about ADHD coaching?"...
Here are a few quick things that came straight to my mind:
I love the "a-ha!!" moments when the self understanding of a clients ADHD lands and suddenly things start making sense. Like the neurotypical glasses they've been struggling to see through all their lives have been lifted away.
I love having the time and space to really listen, ask curated questions and for my clients to not feel rushed. Time for them to think uninterrupted ( with some guard rails! ) and speak honestly. When I was working as a GP in my last career I had 8 minutes to deal with however many and complex the issues a patient brought to the room. It was never enough and my nervous system and sense of justice hated it.
I love to see my clients start to be authentic and start pushing back. I think this is a great and healthy sign. SO much time is spent masking and people pleasing so when a client is honest with me that something doesn't make sense or they want to change the sessions to better suit their needs I'm quietly smiling inside.
Lastly I love hearing when this self advocacy and understanding starts growing outside of the coaching sessions. Hearing the changes they have made in their lives, the stories they have let go of and the new ones they embrace and moments when they have been able to drop the mask and be open about their needs in a confident way.
